But when all goes well with you, remember me and show me kindness; mention me to Pharaoh and get me out of this prison.

Do not forsake your friend or a friend of your family, and do not go to your relative’s house when disaster strikes you— better a neighbor nearby than a relative far away.

So Jehoiachin put aside his prison clothes and for the rest of his life ate regularly at the king’s table.

It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them.
