I cried out to him with my mouth. I praised him with my tongue.
The Lord has been so good to me! How can I ever pay him back?
I will honor you, my God the King. I will praise your name for ever and ever.
Lord, I will give you honor. You brought me out of deep trouble. You didn’t give my enemies the joy of seeing me die.
Lord, I called out to you. I cried to you for mercy.
I said, “What good will come if I become silent in death? What good will come if I go down into the grave? Can the dust of my dead body praise you? Can it tell how faithful you are?
This poor man called out, and the Lord heard him. He saved him out of all his troubles.
