The Lord saves those who do what is right. He is their place of safety when trouble comes.

God helped his people fight against the Hagrites and all who were helping them. He handed over all those enemies to his people. That’s because they cried out to him during the battle. He answered their prayers, because they trusted in him.

So the Lord saved Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem. He saved them from the power of Sennacherib, the king of Assyria. He also saved them from all their other enemies. He took care of them on every side.

The Lord gives me strength. He is like a shield that keeps me safe. My heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart jumps for joy. With my song I praise him.

Lord, you are the one who saves. May your blessing be on your people.

The Lord watches over all his bones. Not one of them will be broken.

God is our place of safety. He gives us strength. He is always there to help us in times of trouble.

The earth may fall apart. The mountains may fall into the middle of the sea. But we will not be afraid.

It is surely true that he is my rock. He is the God who saves me. He is like a fort to me. I will always be secure.

Lord, those who know you will trust in you. You have never deserted those who look to you.

The Lord is a place of safety for those who have been treated badly. He keeps them safe in times of trouble.

He will call out to me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in times of trouble. I will save him and honor him.

Those who do right are saved from trouble. But trouble comes on those who do wrong.

God, you are the one who saves us. We will trust in you. Then we won’t be afraid. Lord, you are the one who gives us strength. You are the one who keeps us safe. Lord, you have saved us.”

Lord, have mercy on us. We long for you to help us. Make us strong every morning. Save us when we’re in trouble.

I will make you like a wall to them. I will make you like a strong bronze wall. The people will fight against you. But they will not overcome you. I am with you. I will save you,” announces the Lord.

We might be thrown into the blazing furnace. But the God we serve is able to bring us out of it alive. He will save us from your power.

But I will sacrifice a thank offering to you. And I will shout with thankful praise. I will do what I have promised. I will say, ‘Lord, you are the one who saves.’ ”

God’s grace has saved you because of your faith in Christ. Your salvation doesn’t come from anything you do. It is God’s gift.

We want you to be very strong, in keeping with his glorious power. We want you to be patient. We pray that you will never give up.

The Lord stood at my side. He gave me the strength to preach the whole message. Then all the Gentiles heard it. I was saved from the lion’s mouth.
