Suppose the Lord had not been on our side when our enemies attacked us.

A group of sinful people has closed in on me. They are all around me like a pack of dogs. They have pierced my hands and my feet.

Lord, I have so many enemies! So many people are rising up against me!

Many are saying about me, “God will not save him.”

Those who are evil hide and wait for godly people. They want to kill them.

I trust in God. I praise his word. I trust in the Lord. I praise his word.
