Praise the Lord, you angels of his. Praise him, you mighty ones who carry out his orders and obey his word.

That night the angel of the Lord went into the camp of the Assyrians. He put to death 185,000 people there. The people of Jerusalem got up the next morning and looked out at the camp. There were all the dead bodies!

Praise him, all his angels. Praise him, all his angels in heaven.

Let all of them praise the name of the Lord, because at his command they were created.

Praise the Lord, you angels in heaven. Praise the Lord for his glory and strength.

All angels are spirits who serve. God sends them to serve those who will receive salvation.
