A foolish child is a father’s ruin. A nagging wife is like dripping that never stops.

What I wrote to you I wrote for a special reason. When I came, I didn’t want to be troubled by those who should make me glad. I was sure that all of you would share my joy.

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are living by the truth.

But his sons didn’t live as he did. They were only interested in making money. They accepted money from people who wanted special favors. They made things that were wrong appear to be right.
