It is better to eat a dry crust of bread in peace and quiet than to eat a big dinner in a house full of fighting.

It is better to live in a desert than to live with a nagging wife who loves to argue.

One handful with peace and quiet is better than two handfuls with hard work. Working too hard is like chasing the wind.

So we know that God loves us. We depend on it. God is love. Anyone who leads a life of love is joined to God. And God is joined to them.
