Godly people are careful about the friends they choose. But the way of sinners leads them down the wrong path.

People who refuse to work want things and get nothing. But the desires of people who work hard are completely satisfied.

It is better to have respect for the Lord and have little than to be rich and have trouble.

It is better to have a little and do right than to have a lot and be unfair.

Put a knife to your throat if you like to eat too much.

A person who doesn’t want to work turns over in bed just like a door that swings back and forth.

A person who doesn’t want to work leaves his hand in his plate. He acts as if he is too tired to bring his hand back up to his mouth.
