The Spirit of God lifted me up. He took me to those who had been brought to Babylon as prisoners. These are the things that happened in the visions the Spirit gave me. Then the visions I had seen were gone.

Then the Spirit of the Lord lifted me up. I heard a loud rumbling sound behind me. The sound was made when the glory of the Lord rose up. It rose up from the place it had been standing.

Then the Spirit lifted me up and took me away. My spirit was bitter. I was very angry. The power of the Lord was on me.

In visions God gave me, he brought me to the land of Israel. He set me on a very high mountain. Some buildings were on the south side of it. They looked like a city.

Then the Spirit lifted me up. He brought me into the inner courtyard. The glory of the Lord filled the temple.

He reached out what appeared to be a hand. He took hold of me by the hair of my head. The Spirit of the Lord lifted me up between earth and heaven. In visions God gave me, the Spirit took me to Jerusalem. He brought me to the entrance of the north gate of the inner courtyard. The statue of a god was standing there. It made God very angry.

I will not say much more to you. The prince of this world is coming. He has no power over me.

When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away. The official did not see him again. He went on his way full of joy.

Those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.

He himself suffered when he was tempted. Now he is able to help others who are being tempted.

But each person is tempted by their own evil desires. These desires lead them on and drag them away.
