Matthew 28:7

Go quickly! Tell his disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead. He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”

Do not tremble with fear. Do not be afraid. Didn’t I announce everything that has happened? Didn’t I tell you about it long ago? You are my witnesses. Is there any other God but me? No! There is no other Rock. I do not know even one.”

Tell me what will happen. State your case. Talk it over together. Who spoke long ago about what would happen? Who said it a long time ago? I did. I am the Lord. I am the one and only God. I always do what is right. I am the one who saves. There is no God but me.

See, I have told you ahead of time.

But after I rise from the dead, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”

Then Jesus said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee. There they will see me.”

So the women hurried away from the tomb. They were afraid, but they were filled with joy. They ran to tell the disciples.

But after I rise from the dead, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”

She went and told those who had been with him. She found them crying. They were very sad.

The two returned and told the others about it. But the others did not believe them either.

They were saying, “It’s true! The Lord has risen! He has appeared to Simon!”

I have told you now before it happens. Then when it does happen, you will believe.

Why have I told you this? So that when their time comes, you will remember that I warned you about them. I didn’t tell you this from the beginning because I was with you.

He was buried. He was raised from the dead on the third day, just as Scripture said he would be.

After that, he appeared to more than 500 brothers and sisters at the same time. Most of them are still living. But some have died.
