Say to those whose hearts are afraid, “Be strong and do not fear. Your God will come. He will pay your enemies back. He will come to save you.”

So do not be afraid. I am with you. Do not be terrified. I am your God. I will make you strong and help you. I will hold you safe in my hands. I always do what is right.

“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. But he has risen! He is not here! See the place where they had put him.

But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary. God is very pleased with you.

The women were terrified. They bowed down with their faces to the ground. Then the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead?

But God raised him from the dead. He set him free from the suffering of death. It wasn’t possible for death to keep its hold on Jesus.

All angels are spirits who serve. God sends them to serve those who will receive salvation.
