Those who had arrested Jesus took him to Caiaphas, the high priest. The teachers of the law and the elders had come together there.

Then the chief priests met with the elders of the people. They met in the palace of Caiaphas, the high priest.

One of the Jewish leaders spoke up. His name was Caiaphas. He was high priest at that time. He said, “You don’t know anything at all!
