Matthew 21:21

Jesus replied, “What I’m about to tell you is true. You must have faith and not doubt. Then you can do what was done to the fig tree. And you can say to this mountain, ‘Go and throw yourself into the sea.’ It will be done.

“Come,” Jesus said. So Peter got out of the boat. He walked on the water toward Jesus.

He replied, “Because your faith is much too small. What I’m about to tell you is true. If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, it is enough. You can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there.’ And it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. “How did the fig tree dry up so quickly?” they asked.

But those who think they belong in the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness. There they will weep and grind their teeth.”

Suppose I have the gift of prophecy. Suppose I can understand all the secret things of God and know everything about him. And suppose I have enough faith to move mountains. If I don’t have love, I am nothing at all.

But when you ask, you must believe. You must not doubt. That’s because a person who doubts is like a wave of the sea. The wind blows and tosses them around.
