Then Jesus left the people and went out of the city to Bethany. He spent the night there.

Jerusalem, listen to my warning. If you do not, I will turn away from you. Your land will become a desert. No one will be able to live there.”

But suppose they do have children. Then I will kill every one of them. How terrible it will be for them when I turn away from them!

Jesus was in Bethany. He was in the home of Simon, who had a skin disease.

As they all approached Jerusalem, they came to Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives. Jesus sent out two of his disciples.

Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the temple courtyard. He looked around at everything. But it was already late. So he went out to Bethany with the 12 disciples.

When evening came, Jesus and his disciples left the city.

Jesus was in Bethany. He was at the table in the home of Simon, who had a skin disease. A woman came with a special sealed jar. It contained very expensive perfume made out of pure nard. She broke the jar open and poured the perfume on Jesus’ head.

Jesus went off to the Sea of Galilee with his disciples. A large crowd from Galilee followed.

Jesus and his disciples went on their way. Jesus came to a village where a woman named Martha lived. She welcomed him into her home.

He approached Bethphage and Bethany. The hill there was called the Mount of Olives. Jesus sent out two of his disciples. He said to them,

Jesus led his disciples out to the area near Bethany. Then he lifted up his hands and blessed them.

A man named Lazarus was sick. He was from Bethany, the village where Mary and her sister Martha lived.

Bethany was less than two miles from Jerusalem.
