He went into the villages, the towns and the countryside. Everywhere he went, the people brought the sick to the market areas. Those who were sick begged him to let them touch just the edge of his clothes. And all who touched his clothes were healed.

One day some Israelites were burying a man. Suddenly they saw a group of robbers. So they threw the man’s body into Elisha’s tomb. The body touched Elisha’s bones. When it did, the man came back to life again. He stood up on his feet.

They begged him to let those who were sick just touch the edge of his clothes. And all who touched his clothes were healed.

Just then a woman came up behind Jesus. She had a sickness that made her bleed. It had lasted for 12 years. She touched the edge of his clothes.

Jesus had healed many people. So those who were sick were pushing forward to touch him.

They ran through that whole area to bring to him those who were sick. They carried them on mats to where they heard he was.

But Jesus answered, “Stop this!” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him.

Everyone tried to touch Jesus. Power was coming from him and healing them all.

She came up behind Jesus and touched the edge of his clothes. Right away her bleeding stopped.

You can’t be saved by believing in anyone else. God has given people no other name under heaven that will save them.”

Are you asking us to explain our actions today? Do you want to know why we were kind to a man who couldn’t walk? Are you asking how he was healed?

So people brought those who were sick into the streets. They placed them on beds and mats. They hoped that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he walked by.
