So Hanun grabbed David’s messengers. He shaved them. He cut off their clothes just below the waist and left them half naked. Then he sent them away.

God will certainly smash the heads of his enemies. He will break the hairy heads of those who keep on sinning.

But they grabbed the servant and beat him up. Then they sent him away with nothing.

The man sent still another servant. The renters killed him. The man sent many others. The renters beat up some of them. They killed the others.

So the man sent another slave. They beat that one and treated him badly. They also sent him away with nothing.
