Right away the disease left the man, and he was “clean.”

He spoke, and the world came into being. He commanded, and it stood firm.

Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! You will be given what you are asking for.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.

So he went to her. He took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her. Then she began to serve them.

Jesus became angry. He reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing to do it,” Jesus said. “Be ‘clean’!”

Jesus sent him away at once. He gave the man a strong warning.

Right away her bleeding stopped. She felt in her body that her suffering was over.

You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.
