When they entered the tomb, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

The disciples crossed over to the other side of the lake. They had forgotten to take bread.

They found the stone rolled away from it.

But they didn’t find his body. So they came and told us what they had seen. They saw angels, who said Jesus was alive.

When the Lord saw her, he felt sorry for her. So he said, “Don’t cry.”

So we need to choose someone to take his place. It will have to be a man who was with us the whole time the Lord Jesus was living among us.
