So Pilate asked Jesus, “Are you the king of the Jews?” “You have said so,” Jesus replied.

Jesus was standing in front of the governor. The governor asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?” “Yes. You have said so,” Jesus replied.

They began to call out to him, “We honor you, king of the Jews!”

“Are you the king of the Jews?” asked Pilate. “You have said so,” Jesus replied.

Let this Messiah, this king of Israel, come down now from the cross! When we see that, we will believe.” Those who were being crucified with Jesus also made fun of him.

They all asked, “Are you the Son of God then?” He replied, “You say that I am.”

A written sign had been placed above him. It read, This is the King of the Jews.

Nathanael replied, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God. You are the king of Israel.”

Pilate came out to them. He asked, “What charges are you bringing against this man?”

They went up to him again and again. They kept saying, “We honor you, king of the Jews!” And they slapped him in the face.

God gives life to everything. Christ Jesus told the truth when he was a witness in front of Pontius Pilate. In the sight of God and Christ, I give you a command.
