He went to him, poured olive oil and wine on his wounds and bandaged them. Then he put the man on his own donkey. He brought him to an inn and took care of him.

When night came, they stopped. One of them opened his sack to get feed for his donkey. He saw his money in the top of his sack.

He heals those who have broken hearts. He takes care of their wounds.

On the way to Egypt, Moses stopped for the night. There the Lord met him and was about to kill him.

She did what she could. She poured perfume on my body to prepare me to be buried.

But a Samaritan came to the place where the man was. When he saw the man, he felt sorry for him.

The next day he took out two silver coins. He gave them to the owner of the inn. ‘Take care of him,’ he said. ‘When I return, I will pay you back for any extra expense you may have.’

She gave birth to her first baby. It was a boy. She wrapped him in large strips of cloth. Then she placed him in a manger. That’s because there was no guest room where they could stay.

Do just the opposite. Scripture says, “If your enemies are hungry, give them food to eat. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. By doing those things, you will pile up burning coals on their heads.” (Proverbs 25:21,22)

Make sure that no one pays back one wrong act with another. Instead, always try to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.
