They must place their hand on its head. They must kill it as a sin offering. They must do it at the place where the animals for burnt offerings are killed.

Leviticus 1:4

You must kill the animal for the guilt offering where you kill the animal for the burnt offering. Splash its blood against the sides of the altar.
