You judge by human standards. I don’t judge anyone.

There are people among you who turn what is fair into something bitter. They throw down to the ground what is right.

Horses don’t run on rocky ground. People don’t plow the sea with oxen. But you have turned fair treatment into poison. You have turned the fruit of right living into bitterness.

The law can’t do what it’s supposed to do. Fairness never comes out on top. Sinful people surround those who do what is right. So people are never treated fairly.

Jesus replied, “Friend, who made me a judge or umpire between you?”

“I don’t judge a person who hears my words but does not obey them. I didn’t come to judge the world. I came to save the world.

Jesus said, “My kingdom is not from this world. If it were, those who serve me would fight. They would try to keep the Jewish leaders from arresting me. My kingdom is from another place.”

God did not send his Son into the world to judge the world. He sent his Son to save the world through him.

Stop judging only by what you see. Judge in the right way.”

“No one, sir,” she said. “Then I don’t find you guilty either,” Jesus said. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

If you judge someone else, you have no excuse for it. When you judge another person, you are judging yourself. You do the same things you blame others for doing.

The person who has the Spirit can judge all things. But no human being can judge those who have the Spirit. It is written,

So from now on we don’t look at anyone the way the world does. At one time we looked at Christ in that way. But we don’t anymore.

If you would, aren’t you treating some people better than others? Aren’t you like judges who have evil thoughts?

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider how handsome or tall he is. I have not chosen him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outside of a person. But the Lord looks at what is in the heart.”
