And what was my life like? The heat burned me in the daytime. And it was so cold at night that I froze. I couldn’t sleep.

You took clothes away from your relatives just because they owed you some money. You left them naked for no reason at all.

The poor don’t have any clothes. They go around naked. They carry bundles of grain, but they still go hungry.

The poor go to the fields and get a little grain. They gather up what is left in the vineyards of sinners.

They are soaked by mountain rains. They hug the rocks because they don’t have anything to keep them warm.

When it snows, she’s not afraid for her family. All of them are dressed in the finest clothes.

Share your food with hungry people. Provide homeless people with a place to stay. Give naked people clothes to wear. Provide for the needs of your own family.

Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace. The church was strengthened and grew larger. That’s because they worshiped the Lord and the Holy Spirit helped them.
