We have heard reports about them. And our hands can’t help us. We are suffering greatly. It’s like the pain of a woman having a baby.

Trembling took hold of them. They felt pain like a woman giving birth.

The vision fills my body with pain. Pains take hold of me. They are like the pains of a woman having a baby. I am shaken by what I hear. I’m terrified by what I see.

As often as it comes, it will carry you away. Morning after morning, day and night, it will come to punish you.” If you understand this message, it will bring you absolute terror.

The king of Babylon has heard reports about them. His hands can’t help him. He is in great pain. It is like the pain of a woman having a baby.

So King Belshazzar became even more terrified. His face grew more pale. And his nobles were bewildered.

People will be saying that everything is peaceful and safe. Then suddenly they will be destroyed. It will happen like birth pains coming on a pregnant woman. None of the people will escape.
