A message from the Lord came to me. He said,

A message from the Lord came to Jeremiah. It came in the 13th year that Josiah was king over Judah. Josiah was the son of Amon.

A message from the Lord came to me. The Lord said,

“I will save you from the hands of evil people. I will set you free from those who treat you badly.”

“Jeremiah, you must not get married. You must not have any sons or daughters in this land.”
