Moses, the servant of the Lord, had earlier told them to do it. Moses told them to do it when he had given directions to bless the Israelites.

They sang the song of God’s servant Moses and of the Lamb. They sang, “Lord God who rules over all, everything you do is great and wonderful. King of the nations, your ways are true and fair.
