Then Abraham said, “Lord, please don’t be angry with me. Let me speak. What if only 30 can be found there?” He answered, “If I find 30, I will not do it.”

“Pay attention, Job! Listen to me! Be quiet so I can speak.

Lord, how long will you be angry with us? Will it be forever? How long will your jealousy burn like fire?

“Please don’t be angry,” Aaron answered. “You know how these people like to do what is evil.

A king’s anger is like a lion’s roar. But his favor is like dew on the grass.

God gave him a high position. Then people from every nation became afraid of the king. That was true no matter what language they spoke. The king put to death anyone he wanted to. He spared anyone he wanted to spare. He gave high positions to anyone he wanted to. And he brought down anyone he wanted to bring down.

Also, the Father does not judge anyone. He has given the Son the task of judging.

“Fellow Israelites, you can be sure that King David died. He was buried. His tomb is still here today.
