So Abram said to Lot, “Let’s not argue with each other. The people taking care of your herds and those taking care of mine shouldn’t argue with one another either. After all, we’re part of the same family.

The next day Moses saw two Israelites fighting. He tried to make peace between them. ‘Men, you are both Israelites,’ he said. ‘Why do you want to hurt each other?’

Love one another deeply. Honor others more than yourselves.

Do everything without complaining or arguing.

We don’t need to write to you about your love for one another. God himself has taught you to love one another.

Try your best to live in peace with everyone. Try hard to be holy. Without holiness no one will see the Lord.

Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters.

You have made yourselves pure by obeying the truth. So you have an honest and true love for each other. So love one another deeply, from your hearts.

Show proper respect to everyone. Love the family of believers. Have respect for God. Honor the emperor.

Finally, I want all of you to agree with one another. Be understanding. Love one another. Be kind and tender. Be humble.

Most of all, love one another deeply. Love erases many sins by forgiving them.

To godliness, add kindness for one another. And to kindness for one another, add love.

Dear friends, let us love one another, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has become a child of God and knows God.
