Everyone on earth is amazed at the wonderful things you have done. What you do makes people from one end of the earth to the other sing for joy.

You rule over the day and the night. You created the sun and the moon.

I cause light to shine. I also create darkness. I bring good times. I also create hard times. I do all these things. I am the Lord.

The Lord said, “Could you ever break my covenant with the day? Could you ever break my covenant with the night? Could you ever stop day and night from coming at their appointed times?

The whole community found out that Aaron had died. So all the Israelites mourned for him for 30 days.

But each person’s work will be shown for what it is. On judgment day it will be brought to light. It will be put through fire. The fire will test how good each person’s work is.

But everything the light shines on can be seen. And everything that the light shines on becomes a light.

All of you are children of the light. You are children of the day. We don’t belong to the night. We don’t belong to the darkness.
