Clouds that are full of water pour rain down on the earth. A tree might fall to the south or the north. It will stay in the place where it falls.

Black clouds filled the sky. The wind came up, and a heavy rain began to fall. Ahab rode off to Jezreel.

Try to succeed by doing many things. After all, you don’t know what great trouble might come on the land.

Anyone who keeps on watching the wind won’t plant seeds. Anyone who keeps looking at the clouds won’t gather crops.

The ax is ready to cut the roots of the trees. All the trees that don’t produce good fruit will be cut down. They will be thrown into the fire.

So he went to the man who took care of the vineyard. He said, ‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree. But I haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’

Suppose someone sees a brother or sister in need and is able to help them. And suppose that person doesn’t take pity on these needy people. Then how can the love of God be in that person?
