Then you notice a beautiful woman among them. If you like her, you may marry her.

Then he longed for Jacob’s daughter Dinah. He fell in love with her and spoke tenderly to her.

But Hamor said to Jacob and his sons, “My son Shechem wants your daughter. Please give her to him to be his wife.

The sons of God saw that the daughters of human beings were beautiful. So they married any of them they chose.

Who can find an excellent woman? She is worth far more than rubies.

Charm can fool you. Beauty fades. But a woman who has respect for the Lord should be praised.

Don’t hunger in your heart after her beauty. Don’t let her eyes capture you.

But save for yourselves every woman who has never slept with a man.

Suppose you go to war against your enemies. And the Lord your God hands them over to you and you take them as prisoners.

Bring her home. Have her shave her head and cut her nails.
