Elisha died and was buried. Some robbers from Moab used to enter the country of Israel every spring.

The young girl spoke to the woman she was serving. She said, “I wish my master would go and see the prophet who is in Samaria. He would heal my master of his skin disease.”

Slaves depend on their masters. A female slave depends on the woman she works for. In the same way, we depend on the Lord our God. We wait for him to have mercy on us.

So Abimelek and all his troops started out at night. They went into their hiding places near Shechem. Abimelek had separated them into four fighting groups.
