But when he would go to speak with the Lord, he would remove the veil. He would keep it off until he came out. Then he would tell the people what the Lord had commanded.

On that mountain the Lord will destroy the veil of sadness that covers all the nations. He will destroy the gloom that is spread over everyone.

At that time those who can’t hear will hear what is read from the scroll. Those who are blind will come out of gloom and darkness. They will be able to see.

I will teach all your children. And they will enjoy great peace.

They will not need to teach their neighbor anymore. And they will not need to teach one another anymore. They will not need to say, ‘Know the Lord.’ That’s because everyone will know me. From the least important of them to the most important, all of them will know me,” announces the Lord. “I will forgive their evil ways. I will not remember their sins anymore.”

Let’s take a good look at the way we’re living. Let’s return to the Lord.

If the people of Israel do not continue in their unbelief, they will again be joined to the tree. God is able to join them to the tree again.

To this day, when the Law of Moses is read, a veil covers the minds of those who hear it.

But you must obey the Lord your God. You must keep his commands and rules. They are written in this Book of the Law. You must turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

All the things I’ve told you about might happen to you. And you will be in trouble. But later you will return to the Lord your God. You will obey him.
