The Lord who rules over all says, ‘I will punish the Amalekites because of what they did to Israel. As the Israelites came up from Egypt, the Amalekites attacked them.

Esau’s son Eliphaz also had a concubine named Timna. She had Amalek by Eliphaz. They were grandsons of Esau’s wife Adah.

They also include the people of Byblos, Ammon, Amalek, Philistia and Tyre.

They will not need to teach their neighbor anymore. And they will not need to teach one another anymore. They will not need to say, ‘Know the Lord.’ That’s because everyone will know me. Then Balaam saw the Amalekites. He spoke the message he had received from God. He said, “Amalek was the first nation to attack Israel. But their end will be total destruction.”
