The king was furious! He sent his soldiers, and they put those murderers to death and set their city on fire.

And if the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would be saved. But because of the elect, whom he chose, he has cut them short.

The great city was split into three parts and the cities of the nations collapsed. So Babylon the great was remembered before God, and was given the cup filled with the wine made of God’s furious wrath.
