One person believes in eating everything, but the weak person eats only vegetables.

Then God said, “I now give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the entire earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.

You may eat any moving thing that lives. As I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.

Better a meal of vegetables where there is love than a fattened ox where there is hatred.

“Please test your servants for ten days by providing us with some vegetables to eat and water to drink.

So the warden removed the delicacies and the wine from their diet and gave them a diet of vegetables instead.

Now receive the one who is weak in the faith, and do not have disputes over differing opinions.

Eat anything that is sold in the marketplace without questions of conscience,

But be careful that this liberty of yours does not become a hindrance to the weak.

To the weak I became weak in order to gain the weak. I have become all things to all people, so that by all means I may save some.

Until certain people came from James, he had been eating with the Gentiles. But when they arrived, he stopped doing this and separated himself because he was afraid of those who were pro-circumcision.

For every creation of God is good and no food is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving.

All is pure to those who are pure. But to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their minds and consciences are corrupted.

Do not be carried away by all sorts of strange teachings. For it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not ritual meals, which have never benefited those who participated in them.

They served only for matters of food and drink and various washings; they are external regulations imposed until the new order came.
