The king of Israel replied, “Tell him the one who puts on his battle gear should not boast like one who is taking it off.”

Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

So let the one who thinks he is standing be careful that he does not fall.

And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the promise.
