“God does not really live on the earth! Look, if the sky and the highest heaven cannot contain you, how much less this temple I have built!

In earlier times you established the earth; the skies are your handiwork.

and lays the beams of the upper rooms of his palace on the rain clouds. He makes the clouds his chariot, and travels along on the wings of the wind.

He mounted a winged angel and flew; he glided on the wings of the wind.

Nations are in uproar, kingdoms are overthrown. God gives a shout, the earth dissolves.

Shout out praise to God, all the earth!

Sing praises about the majesty of his reputation! Give him the honor he deserves!

Sing to God! Sing praises to his name! Exalt the one who rides on the clouds! For the Lord is his name! Rejoice before him!

Your throne has been secure from ancient times; you have always been king.

The sound of the wings of the cherubim could be heard from the outer court, like the sound of the sovereign God when he speaks.

The heavens – indeed the highest heavens – belong to the Lord your God, as does the earth and everything in it.

There is no one like God, O Jeshurun, who rides through the sky to help you, on the clouds in majesty.

Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them: “Come up here!” So the two prophets went up to heaven in a cloud while their enemies stared at them.

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven saying: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.”

Then the temple of God in heaven was opened and the ark of his covenant was visible within his temple. And there were flashes of lightning, roaring, crashes of thunder, an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.
