You lead me in the path of life; I experience absolute joy in your presence; you always give me sheer delight.

As for me, because I am innocent I will see your face; when I awake you will reveal yourself to me.

You hide them with you, where they are safe from the attacks of men; you conceal them in a shelter, where they are safe from slanderous attacks.

The wild animals of the desert honor me, the jackals and ostriches, because I put water in the desert and streams in the wilderness, to quench the thirst of my chosen people,

They do not thirst as he leads them through dry regions; he makes water flow out of a rock for them; he splits open a rock and water flows out.’

The Lord will continually lead you; he will feed you even in parched regions. He will give you renewed strength, and you will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring that continually produces water.

How precious and fair! Grain will make the young men flourish and new wine the young women.

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.
