Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have integrity, and I trust in the Lord without wavering.

“Please, Lord. Remember how I have served you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion, and how I have carried out your will.” Then Hezekiah wept bitterly.

Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a pure and upright man, one who fears God and turns away from evil. And he still holds firmly to his integrity, so that you stirred me up to destroy him without reason.”

Is not your piety your confidence, and your blameless ways your hope?

May he not allow your foot to slip! May your protector not sleep!

Whoever lives a blameless life, does what is right, and speaks honestly.

For the king trusts in the Lord, and because of the sovereign Lord’s faithfulness he is not upended.

My God, I trust in you. Please do not let me be humiliated; do not let my enemies triumphantly rejoice over me!

May integrity and godliness protect me, for I rely on you!

But I have integrity! Rescue me and have mercy on me!

The Lord strengthens and protects me; I trust in him with all my heart. I am rescued and my heart is full of joy; I will sing to him in gratitude.

But I trust in you, O Lord! I declare, “You are my God!”

Vindicate me by your justice, O Lord my God! Do not let them gloat over me!

The law of their God controls their thinking; their feet do not slip.

Offer the prescribed sacrifices and trust in the Lord!

Vindicate me, O God! Fight for me against an ungodly nation! Deliver me from deceitful and evil men!

O God, deliver me by your name! Vindicate me by your power!

He alone is my protector and deliverer. He is my refuge; I will not be upended.

The Lord judges the nations. Vindicate me, Lord, because I am innocent, because I am blameless, O Exalted One!

If I say, “My foot is slipping,” your loyal love, O Lord, supports me.

The righteous person behaves in integrity; blessed are his children after him.

The fear of people becomes a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord will be set on high.

For our reason for confidence is this: the testimony of our conscience, that with pure motives and sincerity which are from God – not by human wisdom but by the grace of God – we conducted ourselves in the world, and all the more toward you.

And let us hold unwaveringly to the hope that we confess, for the one who made the promise is trustworthy.

who by God’s power are protected through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, make every effort to be sure of your calling and election. For by doing this you will never stumble into sin.

He watches over his holy ones, but the wicked are made speechless in the darkness, for it is not by one’s own strength that one prevails.

May the Lord be our judge and arbiter. May he see and arbitrate my case and deliver me from your hands!”
