Your throne, O God, is permanent. The scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of justice.

From Zion, the most beautiful of all places, God comes in splendor.

He chose the tribe of Judah, and Mount Zion, which he loves.

I will appoint him to be my firstborn son, the most exalted of the earth’s kings.

Look, I made him a witness to nations, a ruler and commander of nations.”

“‘This is what the sovereign Lord says: “‘I will take a sprig from the lofty top of the cedar and plant it. I will pluck from the top one of its tender twigs; I myself will plant it on a high and lofty mountain.

In the days of those kings the God of heaven will raise up an everlasting kingdom that will not be destroyed and a kingdom that will not be left to another people. It will break in pieces and bring about the demise of all these kingdoms. But it will stand forever.

The Lord says, ‘I have returned to Zion and will live within Jerusalem. Now Jerusalem will be called “truthful city,” “mountain of the Lord who rules over all,” “holy mountain.”’

Then Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

And God put all things under Christ’s feet, and he gave him to the church as head over all things.

But you have come to Mount Zion, the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the assembly

Then I looked, and here was the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him were one hundred and forty-four thousand, who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.
