Your shout made the waters retreat; at the sound of your thunderous voice they hurried off –

He shouted at the Red Sea and it dried up; he led them through the deep water as if it were a desert.

You broke open the spring and the stream; you dried up perpetually flowing rivers.

The waters saw you, O God, the waters saw you and trembled. Yes, the depths of the sea shook with fear.

The clouds poured down rain; the skies thundered. Yes, your arrows flashed about.

Moses stretched out his hand toward the sea, and the Lord drove the sea apart by a strong east wind all that night, and he made the sea into dry land, and the water was divided.

By the blast of your nostrils the waters were piled up, the flowing water stood upright like a heap, and the deep waters were solidified in the heart of the sea.

the one who made his majestic power available to Moses, who divided the water before them, gaining for himself a lasting reputation,

But you trample on the sea with your horses, on the surging, raging waters.
