The Lord saw Israel’s intense suffering; everyone was weak and incapacitated and Israel had no deliverer.

He was still talking to them when the messenger approached and said, “Look, the Lord is responsible for this disaster! Why should I continue to wait for the Lord to help?”

Its abundant produce goes to the kings you have placed over us due to our sins. They rule over our bodies and our livestock as they see fit, and we are in great distress!

God does not restrain his anger; under him the helpers of Rahab lie crushed.

Look to the right and see! No one cares about me. I have nowhere to run; no one is concerned about my life.

Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” He pushed hard and the temple collapsed on the rulers and all the people in it. He killed many more people in his death than he had killed during his life.
