Luxury is not appropriate for a fool; how much less for a servant to rule over princes!

A poor person who oppresses the weak is like a driving rain without food.

Under three things the earth trembles, and under four things it cannot bear up:

under an unloved woman who is married, and under a female servant who dispossesses her mistress.
