Proverbs 26:28

A lying tongue hates those crushed by it, and a flattering mouth works ruin.

This is what she said to him: “That Hebrew slave you brought to us tried to humiliate me,

to deliver you from the adulteress, from the sexually loose woman who speaks flattering words;

The one who flatters his neighbor spreads a net for his steps.

by keeping you from the evil woman, from the smooth tongue of the loose woman.

so that they may keep you from the adulterous woman, from the loose woman who flatters you with her words.

But now you are trying to kill me, a man who has told you the truth I heard from God. Abraham did not do this!
