O daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you in scarlet as well as jewelry, who put gold jewelry on your clothes.

Neither gold nor crystal can be compared with it, nor can a vase of gold match its worth.

A fool rejects his father’s discipline, but whoever heeds reproof shows good sense.

The ear that hears and the eye that sees – the Lord has made them both.

Do not reprove a mocker or he will hate you; reprove a wise person and he will love you.

It is better for a person to receive a rebuke from those who are wise than to listen to the song of fools.

I put a ring in your nose, earrings on your ears, and a beautiful crown on your head.

The good person brings good things out of his good treasury, and the evil person brings evil things out of his evil treasury.
