So the Lord spoke to Moses:
The altar split open and the ashes fell from the altar to the ground, in fulfillment of the sign the prophet had announced with the Lord’s authority.
Then they threw themselves down with their faces to the ground and said, “O God, the God of the spirits of all people, will you be angry with the whole community when only one man sins?”
“Tell the community: ‘Get away from around the homes of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.’”
