Then Jesus said to him, “See that you do not speak to anyone, but go, show yourself to a priest, and bring the offering that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

The Lord wanted to exhibit his justice by magnifying his law and displaying it.

if the infection in the garment or leather or warp or woof or any article of leather is yellowish green or reddish, it is a diseased infection and it must be shown to the priest.

And you will be brought before governors and kings because of me, as a witness to them and the Gentiles.

Then he instructed his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ.

As they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, “Do not tell anyone about the vision until the Son of Man is raised from the dead.”

So Jesus replied to him, “Let it happen now, for it is right for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John yielded to him.

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have not come to abolish these things but to fulfill them.

“Be careful not to display your righteousness merely to be seen by people. Otherwise you have no reward with your Father in heaven.

And their eyes were opened. Then Jesus sternly warned them, “See that no one knows about this.”

“You must watch out for yourselves. You will be handed over to councils and beaten in the synagogues. You will stand before governors and kings because of me, as a witness to them.

But he sternly ordered them not to make him known.

He strictly ordered that no one should know about this, and told them to give her something to eat.

If a place will not welcome you or listen to you, as you go out from there, shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.”

Jesus ordered them not to tell anything. But as much as he ordered them not to do this, they proclaimed it all the more.

Then he warned them not to tell anyone about him.

As they were coming down from the mountain, he gave them orders not to tell anyone what they had seen until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead.

When he saw them he said, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went along, they were cleansed.

This will be a time for you to serve as witnesses.

Demons also came out of many, crying out, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them, and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.

Then he ordered the man to tell no one, but commanded him, “Go and show yourself to a priest, and bring the offering for your cleansing, as Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

Her parents were astonished, but he ordered them to tell no one what had happened.

But he forcefully commanded them not to tell this to anyone,

“I do not accept praise from people,

The person who speaks on his own authority desires to receive honor for himself; the one who desires the honor of the one who sent him is a man of integrity, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

I am not trying to get praise for myself. There is one who demands it, and he also judges.
