“To what should I compare this generation? They are like children sitting in the marketplaces who call out to one another,

But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher and you are all brothers.

Then Judas, the one who would betray him, said, “Surely not I, Rabbi?” Jesus replied, “You have said it yourself.”

Immediately he went up to Jesus and said, “Greetings, Rabbi,” and kissed him.

Then Jesus said to him, “What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man replied, “Rabbi, let me see again.”

Peter remembered and said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered.”

In his teaching Jesus also said, “Watch out for the experts in the law. They like walking around in long robes and elaborate greetings in the marketplaces,

When Judas arrived, he went up to Jesus immediately and said, “Rabbi!” and kissed him.

So Peter said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us make three shelters – one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

Woe to you Pharisees! You love the best seats in the synagogues and elaborate greetings in the marketplaces!

Jesus turned around and saw them following and said to them, “What do you want?” So they said to him, “Rabbi” (which is translated Teacher), “where are you staying?”

Nathanael answered him, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel!”

The disciples replied, “Rabbi, the Jewish leaders were just now trying to stone you to death! Are you going there again?”

Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him in Aramaic, “Rabboni” (which means Teacher).

came to Jesus at night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs that you do unless God is with him.”

So they came to John and said to him, “Rabbi, the one who was with you on the other side of the Jordan River, about whom you testified – see, he is baptizing, and everyone is flocking to him!”

Meanwhile the disciples were urging him, “Rabbi, eat something.”

When they found him on the other side of the lake, they said to him, “Rabbi, when did you get here?”

His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who committed the sin that caused him to be born blind, this man or his parents?”
