then I will remove Israel from the land I have given them, I will abandon this temple I have consecrated with my presence, and Israel will be mocked and ridiculed among all the nations.

Pour out your judgment on them! May your raging anger overtake them!

May their camp become desolate, their tents uninhabited!

The Lord who commands armies told me this: “Many houses will certainly become desolate, large, impressive houses will have no one living in them.

But, if you do not obey these commands, I solemnly swear that this palace will become a pile of rubble. I, the Lord, affirm it!”

Now after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one will be cut off and have nothing. As for the city and the sanctuary, the people of the coming prince will destroy them. But his end will come speedily like a flood. Until the end of the war that has been decreed there will be destruction.

“I destroyed nations; their walled cities are in ruins. I turned their streets into ruins; no one passes through them. Their cities are desolate; no one lives there.

Indeed, I will no longer have compassion on the people of the land,” says the Lord, “but instead I will turn every last person over to his neighbor and his king. They will devastate the land, and I will not deliver it from them.”

And he said to them, “Do you see all these things? I tell you the truth, not one stone will be left on another. All will be torn down!”

“But when you see the abomination of desolation standing where it should not be (let the reader understand), then those in Judea must flee to the mountains.

Look, your house is forsaken! And I tell you, you will not see me until you say, ‘Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!’”

“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation has come near.

They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led away as captives among all nations. Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

“As for these things that you are gazing at, the days will come when not one stone will be left on another. All will be torn down!”
